Who Is Robert Kraft?

Robert Kraft was born on 5 June 1941 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He is an American businessman, a philanthropist, the Chairman, and CEO of the Kraft Group. Kraft is also famous for his holdings in the New England Patriots, National Football League, and Major League Soccer’s New England Revolution. Apart from that, he is also a trustee of Boston College. He holds other positions on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Viacom.

Robert Kraft went to Brookline High School, where he graduated in 1959, joined Columbia University on a scholarship. Kraft got an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1965. He is married to Myra Kraft, who graduated from Brandeis University in 1964.

As a philanthropist, Robert and his wife Myra have always donated millions to various causes such as child and women issues, education, American and Israel causes. Robert Kraft has supported some institutions, including Boston College, Columbia University, Brandeis University, Harvard Business School, Tufts University, and many more. In 2007 he donated $5 million to support Columbia’s intercollege athletics program, and as a result, they named the field after him – Robert K. Kraft Field. He is fond of supporting American Football in Israel, and he has even built a Kraft Family Stadium in Jerusalem and a Football League in Israel.
